can you hear me?

I got this voicemail this morning on my home line, and it's so garbled I can't make it out. It's from a number I didn't recognize, and if I had to guess, I'd say it's a drunk mis-dial, but I figured I'd give lazyweb a stab at it.

Let's see. This is probably from a cell phone - the cutouts are a signature of a digital voice conversion; coupled with the wild fluctuations in volume I suspect the caller didn't have his mouth to the microphone and so the phone couldn't tell what to filter out and what to transmit.

I don't imagine there's any insight I can offer as to the content. It's kind of like a trainwreck, and I'm pretty sure you're not the intended recipient.

I did start writing a transcript of what I was hearing, but when I got past "...know what I would give to go home to a bed which wasn't GODAMMED EMPTY all the time..." I kinda felt it wasn't necessary. And I'm pretty sure you're not cheating on your boyfriend with a married man who has a wife and a kid, so I'm guessing the call wasn't meant for you.

it sounds vaguely like someone accidentally dialed you and didn't know they did. It could be someone you know, but I don't think they intended to call you, or it could be a mis-dialed number. Hopefully they didn't wake you up.

Butt-dialing
Sounds like butt-dialing or pocket-dialing to me.
