Apropos of nothing, here are a bunch of things I'm not interested in doing. I was going to call them antigoals, but I didn't want to give the impression that I'm against other people doing them. So I'll call them nongoals.
  • go to India

  • play better golf

  • roast my own coffee beans

  • organize a webdesign conference

  • write for a living

  • swear less

  • buy a new computer

  • meet J.K. Rowling

  • learn to play the guitar

  • quit smoking

  • watch the IMDB.com top 100 movies

  • own my own restaurant

  • grow my nails

  • buy a Weimaraner puppy

  • have a beer

  • learn photoshop

  • read the whole Bible

  • eat more

  • run for public office

  • run the NYC marathon

  • meet someone famous

  • lose 100 pounds

  • pass the bar

  • learn to can fruits and vegetables

  • be in a band

  • sell a screenplay

  • become a Professional Speaker

  • eat less dairy

  • train a horse

  • learn greek

  • buy a new TV

  • be famous

  • juggle more

  • spend an entire day watching the extended version of all three Lord of the Rings movies back-to-back-to-back

  • drink less alcohol

  • take the GRE

  • own a radio station

  • summit Mt. Ranier

  • read Beowulf

  • bungee jump

  • project movies on my wall
I could go on for hours; it's rather liberating.

hmm... interesting idea. :)

And I probably will spend an entire day next weekend watching all the LOTR movies at once... then again, I did help organize a Tolkien convention to do just that too. :blushes:

And I have met several famous people... but they've all been astronauts. :)

And I took the GRE... not that I ever want to take the darn thing again!

In some respect, it seems almost like spam backlash... I could make a sizable list just based on the spam I get.

My favorite part of this is that my roommate has been constantly trying to get me to go to India recently, which is really annoying. I also have a non-goal of going to India.

Thank goodness you don't want to lose one hundred pounds -- would you even exist after that?
